GCUC started with a bold idea. In 2012, founder Liz Elam brought industry visionaries together in Austin, Texas. Adam Neumann of WeWork, Benjamin Dyett of GRIND, Neal Gorenflo of Sharable, and Mark Gilbreth of Liquidspace were among them. The conversations sparked something big.
Fast forward, and flexible work is a billion-dollar megatrend. In the past year alone, over $1 billion has been invested in its growth. By 2030, the global flexible office market is projected to hit $96.77 billion—three times what it was in 2023.
